Direct Dee began his DJ journey over 37 years ago at just 13 years old, building a passion for music and entertainment that continues to this day. He first got behind the decks on Love Energy Radio back in the early 90s and quickly became known for bringing energy, great music, and crowd-pleasing vibes wherever he played.
Over the years, Direct Dee has performed at a wide range of popular venues across Sale, Stockport, and beyond, including JFKs, Level 10, Ryan’s Bar, Zazars, Cobdens, White Lion, Marketplace, and many more.
Today, alongside DJing, he runs his successful entertainment business, D&D Entertainment Event Hire, providing everything needed to make events unforgettable. Services include photo booths, magic mirrors, and a wide range of entertainment hire options for weddings, parties, corporate events, and special occasions.
Direct Dee is currently back on Love Energy Radio hosting two popular request shows every Thursday and Saturday morning, keeping listeners entertained with great music and live shout-outs.

I started DJing in the early 90s, building my foundations in Jungle on Frontline Radio before going on to join Sting FM and later Buzz FM, helping shape the underground scene during some of its most influential years. My journey began with Jungle — it was the raw energy, heavy basslines, and fast-paced rhythms that defined the era and drew me into the culture. As the sound evolved, so did I, naturally transitioning into UK Garage, where I developed a style known for smooth blends, high-energy sets, and real crowd connection. Today, I continue to keep Jungle alive on Unity Radio every Wednesday, alongside Garage and Bassline on LoveNRG every Thursday, bringing decades of experience, authentic selection, and a deep passion for underground music to every set. From old-school classics to upfront vibes, my aim has always been simple: create an atmosphere and keep people moving.

Been DJing about 27 years, first started playing on mystery sound system, then rolled with immortal platinum for a few years. Branched off to do my own thing and then joined forces and been a borderline crew member ever since. I’ve Dj’ed along side some of the biggest names in the world, ATL, Cassidy, Stonelove, bass oddessy, heartless crew, roll deep, Robbo Ranks to name a few.
